“After-Birth Abortion”…what is it? Is it what it sounds like? The issue of abortion has been a raging ethical and political one in our nation for decades. But recently, some ethicists have begun to draw some scary conclusions that naturally flow from their ethical convictions concerning abortion. Scott Rae and I discuss this issue of abortion after the birth of a baby, or infanticide, as it more traditionally understood. This is a difficult and tragic topic, but I think it is important to be aware of the consequences of certain ethical paradigms in our country as well as the actions against newborn children in the rest of the world.
